Edema Therapy and Lymphatic Drainage
Edema is the name given to an abnormal build-up of fluid in the body. This can be the result of surgery, radiotherapy, hormone therapy or chemotherapy.
Our edema therapist’s treatment consists of manual lymph drainage: a massage technique that helps to remove the fluid.
Other treatments that we regularly apply are: Compression therapy, lymph taping, scar treatment, exercise therapy, education and teaching self-management. We can also offer you a tailor-made treatment plan.
